Our hibiscus petals come from Egypt, the continent where it’s native to. Hibiscus is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C and beta-carotene. Hibiscus flowers have a flavour similar to grenade with a tart finish reminiscent of lemonade. Brewing hibiscus flowers results in a deep red infusion, adding a gorgeous pop of colour to your tisane based drinks. You may experience slight curdling with the addition of milk, so keep the ratio of hibiscus to milk low.

Brewing Instructions: Brew 1 heaping teaspoon/cup for 3-7 minutes at 100 C.
Cold Brew Instructions: Brew 2 heaping teaspoons/cup overnight or for 6-8 hours, top with coconut milk, coconut water or sparkling water.
